The Moneual 310 HTPC
The 301 is the latest release from Moneual and it may become one the most coveted home theater PCs around due to the very alluring combination between its features and its price. Each month, the multimedia world is stirred more and more and the HTPCs – once looked at in great suspicion – are now items of great value for the individuals who really care about the way they experience their audio and video media.
Moneual Lab decided to take the world of HTPCs one step further with the 301 model. It embeds a real powerhouse, packing features that even strong desktop systems barely dream of. Moneual decided it's time for Vista and so, the 301 models come with preinstalled Vista Media Center Edition.
If you think that the Moneual 301 is just another PC in a rather less-conventional shape – you're wrong. The electronics behind the nice front plate are quite impressive as we're talking here about really serious multimedia: the Moneual 310 HTPC sports an AMD 64 Athlon X2 4400 processor and packs no less than 2GB of RAM. The sound comes in a most nifty 7.1 channel array and the storage is made on a 250GB HDD. There are latest-generation HDMI inpust and outputs and the Moneual 310 HTPC supports wireless keyboard and remote connections for ultimate comfort.
The array of available connectivity options is completed with five USB 2.0 ports, two FireWire, Ethernet link and VGA outs. The remote and keyboard are worth every penny as there will definitely be no crowding in your multimedia room (or room corner) – the Moneual 310 HTPC will sit on a piece of dedicated furniture and you can control it buried in the comfort of your fav couch.
However, the most impressive thing about the Moneual 310 HTPC is the price which promises many stirs on the market. All these fantastic things come for less than $1,000 and this is quite a piece of extremely good news!.
